WSP are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Risk Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring risk management excellence on an airport construction project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
As we embark on an exciting new infrastructure project in the region, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/QC (Electrical) Engineer to ensure the quality and safety of electrical installations. Join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of Madinah’s infrastructure.
Your new role, what’s involved?
* Quality Assurance and Quality Control Leadership: Take a lead role in implementing and managing the QA/QC processes for electrical installations throughout the entire project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.
* Inspection and Testing: Conduct comprehensive inspections and tests of electrical systems, equipment, and components to guarantee adherence to the highest quality standards and promptly identify any defects or deviations.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all QA/QC activities, including detailed inspection reports, comprehensive test results, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Generate regular reports for project management and stakeholders.
* Supplier and Subcontractor Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to verify the quality and reliability of electrical materials and equipment used in the project.
* Non-Conformance Management: Proactively identify and report any non-conformities, and take a lead in initiating timely corrective and preventive actions in coordination with relevant teams.
* Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Conduct in-depth root cause analysis for identified issues to prevent recurrence and continuously improve the overall quality of electrical installations.
* Compliance and Safety Assurance: Ensure that all electrical installations strictly adhere to safety regulations, industry best practices, and company policies. Foster a culture of safety awareness among project team members.
* Training and Mentoring: Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the awareness of QA/QC standards and best practices among project personnel. Provide mentorship to junior QA/QC engineers and support their professional development.
* Technical Expertise: Offer expert technical support and guidance to the project team, effectively addressing any complex technical queries or challenges related to electrical installations.
* Project Leadership: Collaborate closely with other project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to promote seamless communication, efficient problem-solving, and successful project delivery.
