<strong><em>Education Qualification</em></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Mechanical degree or Diploma Holder.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Perform documenting dimensional, visual, painting and welding inspections to the drawing or applicable procedures.</li><li>Read part drawings issued by OEM to understand the required tolerances.</li><li>Documenting non-conforming material utilizing an NCR (nonconforming materials) process.</li><li>Review inspection reports &amp; checklists issued by operations and ensure they are in accordance with the required OEM tolerances/API or ISO standards.</li><li>Reviewing and verify internal and external qualifications of suppliers, welders, NDE personnel with regard to.</li><li>Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE), welding procedures, painting procedures and/or other applicable requirements.</li><li>Reviewing and approve suppliers manufacturing and testing documents/procedures and to take care. for approval (when required) of these documents by the customer, his customer and the authorized inspection body.</li><li>Preparing and define test and inspection requirements for the required projects such as ITP and procurement specifications.</li><li>Inspection of spare parts issued by OEM, in addition to parts machined and fabricated in-house. Ensure parts comply to the drawings issued by OEM.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and take corrective action plan to reduce rejection &amp; rework.</li><li>Analysis of quality issues related to pump shop, machine shop &amp; welding shop errors in order to achieve the desired target.</li><li>Ensure welding repairs are done w.r.t WPS/PQR.</li><li>Review final assembly reports &amp; checklists issued by operations and ensure they are in accordance with the required OEM tolerances/API or ISO standards.</li><li>Handle TPI/Customer inspections.</li><li>Ensuring timely calibration &amp; certification of Gauges, Instruments.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Knowledge of welding, NDE and quality systems </li><li>Knowledge of API 610 standard for pumps.</li><li>Knowledge of the established quality standards, laws and regulations of national and international authorities.</li><li>Must have knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, assembly and test operations of pumps and associated accessories.</li><li>Must have knowledge in reading OEM part drawings to understand tolerances.</li><li>Flexible, eager to learn, accurate, analytical with positive, can-do attitude.</li><li>Flexibility and willingness to travel.</li><li>Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills.</li><li>Problem solving skills.</li><li>Operational Excellence &amp; High Level of Customer Service Standard.</li><li>Engineering with 5-8 years relevant experience in Pump’s OEM or service environment.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Benefits</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>This position offers with a total salary of QAR 10,000 to QAR 11,000 per month.<br></li></ul>
