Promo Producer/Trailer Editor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Promo Producer/Trailer Editor to join our team, on a full-time basis!

The candidate should be collaborative, a great communicator who has knowledge of all digital formats, and have a bag of enthusiasm ready to unleash onto our team and clients. If this rings true to you, we’d love to meet!

Responsibilities

• Generating engaging promo treatments
• Pitching ideas/treatments
• Choosing appropriate music beds, basic music editing experience 
• Editing competent rough cuts (knowledge of Adobe Premiere)
• Confidently directing, Sound Designers & voice-over artists
• Delivering all promos to the deadline specified
• Providing creative advice and assistance to colleagues
• Manage finishing deliverables on alltrailers
• Track all versions of trailers in the creative process
• Enforce security protocols, maintaining the security of all materials, including ensuring digital fingerprinting of all trailers through Content Security
• Manage and fulfill the creative editing deliverable in a timely and efficient manner and in various AV formats

Skills & Interests

• The candidate must be extremely organized and have a great eye for detail. Great follow-up is a must.
• A track record of resourcefulness is a plus. This is a hands-on position.
• An awareness of the competitive business environment in which we work.
• Ideally an interest in new technologies and pushing new boundaries where others haven’t.
• Previous promo producing experience essential
• Broad understanding of Edit, Animation, and Sound design
• Competent self op edit skills (Premiere Or FCP)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ons Set, Filmmaking experience (Directing preferred but not essential)
• Any After effects / Motion based skills or sound design experience is a bonus
