Summary

The Project Specialist will play a key role in working closely with Delivery Leads and Product Owners to ensure that all activities, scheduling, and coordination processes run smoothly within the context of an Agile Delivery Office.

As a Project Specialist, you will help drive Delivery Initiatives from start to finish by coordinating information, managing contributions within deadlines, providing support through data analysis, developing delivery communication and progress and risk reporting to stakeholders, and contributing to overall strategy and project successful closing. Will also be responsible for project documentation and monitoring.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

  • Driving an effective and efficient Agile Delivery Office and the governance of its processes, activities and requirements
  • Support in the management of day-to-day operations of the Agile Delivery Office
  • Flag initiative delivery risks early and develop and prioritize mitigation strategies
  • Align and communicate with multiple stakeholders in complex environment to oversee delivery initiatives and remove any delivery initiative roadblocks
  • Escalate any critical roadblocks to relevant entity
  • Support full compliance of initiative delivery execution
  • Document delivery initiative developments accurately
  • Maintain delivery initiative timeframes, objectives, and communications
  • Create and manage documentation and reports for delivery initiatives
  • Verify data and information and analyze it to suit the direction of a project

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Degree Bachelor’s in a related to Project Management Field.
  • Prior experience in the Utilities industry preferred
  • Knowledgeable in all phases of the project management life cycle
  • Knowledge and practical experience of Agile methodologies
  • Practical experience in Project Reporting and Communication
  • Proven ability in leveraging high-paced and dynamic environments
  • Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
  • Affinity or interest for technical topics
  • High service orientation, commitment, and flexibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in delivering clear outcome-based targets and measures by working with a strong sense of urgency in getting the job done
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage third party suppliers, taking ownership of delivery initiative reporting and progress information and ensuring compliance / adherence to Agile Delivery Office governance practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related to Project Management Field.
  • Certification in a relevant Project Management methodology (PRINCE 2, PMBOK)
  • Certification in Agile Delivery (SCRUM, SAFe)
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
