To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E<p><br></p><strong>What Youβll Do</strong><p><br></p>As part of a wider tender team, the <strong>Project Services Tender Engineer </strong>will that for all project bids, the work required to manage and deliver the project successfully is clearly defined from as early as possible, cost assumptions are clear, and margin expectations are validated and approved for the execution side of projects. This requires someone very familiar with what is required for large project delivery.<p><br></p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Overall Project Management and Service scope for complex project tenders for all aspects once equipment leaves Eaton factories and/or arrives to site. These must be documented, costed, and any risks or opportunities identified all through the tender process. </li><li>As tenders arrive, review for project / service deliverables and build a project plan that captures the types of support and hours needed as a project plan. Maintain this plan as the tender develops and use it to keep costs and profitability for the delivery part of a project always in view. </li><li>Identify any risks in terms of what is required to execute the delivery or projects and help to drive mitigation during the tender phase. Escalate all major risks so that they can be addressed as part of the tender review process before bid. </li><li>At handover, explain the project plan to date, the assumptions, and all risks / opportunities identified as part of delivery. </li><li>Support where needed ongoing projects to clarify agreements and take on learnings as projects are delivered. </li><li>Work closely and support Eaton internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Service, Product Divisions) for strategy and tactical support to grow capabilities and win profitable projects – and to avoid winning unprofitable projects.. </li><li>Support continuous improvement across the tender process by developing standard working methods and tools that de-risk Eaton tenders as concerns the project management and delivery. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor degree </li><li>Minimum 2 years working in service or on large projects in some capacity.</li><li>Experience as a project manager highly desirable</li><li>Formal Project certification. (e.g. PMP, Prince 2, ITIL)</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)</li><li>Electrical experience of any kind desirable. </li><li>Stakeholder management; Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and influencing skills;</li><li>Track record of achieving objectives; logic skills; Planning acumen; problem solver; </li><li>Fluent English. Intercultural awareness</li><li>A high level of personal integrity and ethics and commitment to βdoing business right.β</li></ul>
