We help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith.<p><br></p>Come join our 33,000+ staff working in nearly 100 countries and share the joy of transforming vulnerable children’s life stories!<p><br></p><strong><u>Employee Contract Type</u></strong><p><br></p>Local – Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p><strong><u>JOB RESPONSABILITIES</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Ensure Implementation and Coordination</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Implement assigned tasks as per the weekly detailed distribution and data gathering implementation plan;</li><li>Comply and abide by WV best practices and donor regulations in distributions and data gathering;</li><li>Inform the Project Coordinator of any deviations from the planned activities;</li><li>Purchase items in line with the budget and instructions given by the Project Coordinator;</li><li>Ensure data gathering through phone calls or household visits;</li><li>Conduct awareness sessions on agriculture best practices;</li><li>Select sites for demonstration (on suggested practices) purposes;</li><li>Conduct demonstration on suggested practices in selected beneficiary demo plots;</li><li>Organize assisted visits for beneficiaries to demonstration sites</li><li>WVL Verify lists of potential producers and conduct due diligence and vetting as per WVI and donor standards</li><li>Support Project Coordinator in preparing and signing cooperation agreement on product development</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Handle Commodities distribution</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensure that beneficiaries sign or thumbprint against their names on the beneficiary lists/commodities receipts as proof that commodity ration have been received.</li><li>Support Project Coordinator in ensuring that all distribution supporting documents are in place (issuance note, return note, Daily distribution report…).</li><li>Prepare daily distribution reports as per donor and WV required templates.</li><li>Report any issues/challenges faced at field level to Project Coordinator.</li><li>Make sure to refer any protection case to Project Coordinator</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Handle Reporting, Recording and support in Proposal Development</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Deliver high quality, accurate and timely daily reports;</li><li>File all relevant project documents in line with WV’s requirements for project auditing;</li><li>Track task progress in line with the established tracking system;</li><li>Handle stock (commodities) in line with WV’s policies;</li><li>Conduct data gathering for project amendments and proposals;</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Monitoring, Accountability And Protection Mainstreaming</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Conduct monitoring activities and or adhoc visits as per donor/WVL’s request.</li><li>Conduct follow up phone call s for beneficiaries</li><li>Support actions to address beneficiary feedback;</li><li>Actively participate in lessons learned session for the project;</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Perform Other Duties As Required</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Attend and participate in WVL’s spiritual nurture and other organizational events</li><li>Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture</li><li>Report CP incidents as per the safeguarding policy guidelines.</li><li>Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Knowledge/Qualifications For The Role</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the NGO sector in distributions and data gathering;</li><li>Experience in managing local partners preferred in the agriculture sector;</li><li>Experience in data gathering at household level and focus group discussions;</li><li>Bachelor degree in Agriculture engineering, business management or related field</li><li>Able to use a computer, with word-processing (e.g. Microsoft Office) and spreadsheets, internet and e-mail</li><li>A valid driver’s license (more than 1 year old);</li><li>Ability to travel across the country regularly for training, assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation</li><li>Good level of English and Arabic (oral and written);</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Applicant Types Accepted</u></strong><p><br></p>Local Applicants Only
