<p>DirectFN is an Innovative Financial Technology solutions provider β with game-changing innovation as DirectFN’s foundation and new value creation for the Capital Market ecosystem as an ongoing passion. For the past 20+ years, we have specialized in digital maturity for FinTech (Brokerage and Wealth/Asset Management platforms) and FinCON (Market Information Screens) based solutions. We are provisioning ourselves in the Emerging & Frontier Markets at Brokerage Firms (Retail & Institutional), Banks, Clearing Members, and Wealth/Asset Managers spanning Morocco to Indonesia. </p><br><p><strong>Job Overview or brief description</strong></p><br><p>The project Manager should be the POC on behalf of DirectFN for the assigned client/account, whereby business and technical stakeholder management should be done on the client site. On the other end, they should be the main bridge between the client and DFN technical team regarding Scope management, requirement clarification, time/delivery management, and resource management. The Project Manager should be a quick learner of the business domain related to the market segment of DFN products, grasp the product suite’s functional and technical flow, and have good knowledge of agile development methodologies and an understanding of SQL. </p><br><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p><br><ul><br><li>Prepare project and scope plans to manage the project.</li><br><li>Prepare functional requirement documents and cost requirement documents. </li><br><li>Ensure functional and non-functional requirements and timelines are appropriately communicated to the DFN technical team and ensure the client is on the same page. </li><br><li>Monitor project progress, continuous follow-ups, and set deadlines.</li><br><li>When necessary, manage project risks, highlight them to higher management on the DFN and client sides, and set contingency plans. </li><br><li>Handle technical feasibility discussions with technical stakeholders.</li><br><li>Solve issues arising by engaging with the system engineering and development teams.</li><br><li>Motivate the team members and keep the team spirit for the project’s final goal. </li><br></ul><br><p><strong>Qualifications and requirements</strong></p><br><ul><br><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering/ Information Technology field of study</li><br><li>A master degree in Project Management is an added advantage</li><br><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus</li><br><li>Excellent client-facing, negotiation skills, and internal communication skills</li><br><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><br><li>Proven working experience in project management</li><br><li>Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills</li><br><li>Experience with project management software tools, i.e., MS Project</li><br><li>Capital market domain exposure will be an added advantage. </li><br></ul><br><p><strong>Competencies (In order of importance)</strong></p><br><ul><br><li>They take ownership and follow up on end-to-end projects, product development, and delivery.</li><br><li>Detail-oriented.</li><br><li>Capital market knowledge in various asset classes. </li><br><li>Knowledge of global financial protocols in capital markets and banking. i.e., SWIFT, FIX, ITCH</li><br><li>Presentation and product demonstration skills</li><br><li>Pre-sales and product marketing skills</li></ul>
