The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and delivering multiple projects within the financial services domain, using both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile methodologies. They will need to effectively manage teams, stakeholders, risks, and interdependencies while maintaining clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle. Proficiency in project planning software and strong analytical skills are also essential for this role.
Responsibilities:

Supporting the development of the project business case by considering business and functional requirements.

Leading, motivating, and engaging the project team to achieve project objectives.

Providing analysis and forecasting to support the delivery of the change portfolio.

Creating and maintaining relevant plans, including project, critical path, communication, and deployment plans.

Properly documenting, reporting, and actively managing project risks and issues.

Managing interdependencies with other projects and assessing their impact.

Establishing effective communication channels with stakeholders and the wider business to ensure engagement, support, and delivery of project outcomes
Experience/Skills required:

Excellent understanding of the project management life cycle and the role of a Senior Project Manager.

Experience working in a financial services environment (preferred).

Extensive experience managing multiple large business projects/programs simultaneously within complex change environments.

Coordinating projects/programs, including financial management and oversight of inter-dependencies, risks, and issues.

Strong knowledge and experience of Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.

Completion or pursuit of a Project Management qualification (e.g., Agile Foundation and Practitioner, Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner) or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, as well as project planning software such as MS Project or similar tools.
