Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget, and scope.
- Supervise projects from initiation to completion, ensuring proper coordination with all departments.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and share them with project managers and staff members.
- Provide timely project updates to stakeholders.
- Continuously work towards successful project completion within agreed timelines and deliverables.
- Review resource demands and optimize resource usage to meet project requirements.
- Supervise tasks on-site and provide progress reports.
- Ensure the flow of information from the project manager to the team.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project.
- Support the project manager with project scheduling, coordination, material delivery, and progress reporting.
- Assist with clerical tasks, such as petty cash management and expense tracking.
- Maintain proactive coordination with other departments.
- Perform additional tasks as reasonably requested by management.
Requirements:Β
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry or related field.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as knowledge of IT systems and solutions.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and project delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Proven ability to manage project schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in managing stakeholder expectations, building relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments) may be preferred or beneficial.
