<p>Lead full-stack javascript engineer (Node, Angular, Typescript, RXJS) for an exciting, fast paced startup. </p><p><br></p><p>Lyvely is a UGC-based platform designed to help content creators, freelancers, and digital nomads to monetise their content or services. Different from other platforms, we prioritise our hosts, their work, and their earnings first.</p><p><br></p><p>It’s a fresh approach, just as our website and codebase is fresh!</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll be working alongside skilled tech engineers who have previous experience working in startups, and we’re pushing the best quality and most suitable tools available. We are looking for a passionate tech lead with years of qualified experience to join us and lead our engineers in the best practices and quality execution that Lyvely needs to grow and scale.</p><p><br></p><p>You are going to be a core component of the development team moving forwards.</p><p>Technical</p><p><br></p><p>*7+ years of JS development experience in both front and back-end contexts</p><p>*Extensive experience with Angular preferred (or React/Vue/Next)</p><p>*Extensive experience with Node/Typescript/RXJS</p><p>*Proven experience in writing unit and integration tests – we will be focusing on increasing our code coverage</p><p>*2+ years of leading development teams, with proven/demonstrable team performance improvement</p><p>*Good understanding of microservices architecture</p><p>*Experienced with running Scrum/agile teams</p><p>*Experience in startup environments – we need to wear many hats sometimes here!</p><p>*Comfortable and willing/able to coach, give feedback on, and unblock our tech team whenever they’re caught in a tight spot</p><p>*Has a security-first mentality. When it comes to security, good enough is not good enough</p><p>*Has attention to detail in development and UX: we are heavily invested in ensuring quality throughout our codebases and our website looks amazing – let’s keep it that way</p><p>*This isn’t a passive role; as a leader, you’ll need to be actively looking for challenges both with the team and the company as a whole, and being super-proactive in solving them</p><p><br></p><p>Nice to haves/bonus points</p><p>-Experience with microservices</p><p>-Experience with the ELK stack/ElasticSearch</p><p>-Experience with AWS</p><p>-Experience in Flutter</p><p><br></p><p>Team</p><p>-We’re a passionate and experienced team with award-winning CEO and co-founders who know how to build businesses from a creative and a corporate angle.
