Job Description and Qualifications
The Jazan IGCC is the world’s largest IGCC and ASU facility producing 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 4 Gigawatts of power.  Facilities and assets include residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, Sulphur recovery (Claus & Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.

The Role:

  •  Collaborate with Project Manager and Engineering/CM/PD teams to develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules during the development phases.
  • Support the Project Manager in developing the Project Execution Plan and gate approval documents.
  • Support Project Manager for procurement requisitions and Collaborate with engineering to supervise Material Planner for project material and equipment technical approvals.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Transmission Service Provider to fulfill project requirements efficiently and on time.
  • Report to the Project Director as the Project Manager for assigned projects, overseeing Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases.
  • Coordinate and liaise with company engineers, contractor engineers, and designers to ensure project deliverables align with objectives.
  • Execute assigned work in accordance with the Project Execution Plan, applicable procedures, and standards, including HSE, Quality, and financial guidelines.
  • Lead a team of direct and indirect reports, ensuring the safe delivery of projects within agreed scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage the Engineering Contractor during the design and procurement phases.
  • Oversee procurement activities by the Engineering Contractor and internal departments, aligning with the project’s scope of work.
  • Understand the technical content of Electrical Engineering documents, coordinating reviews for compliance with project objectives and business needs.
  • Manage interfaces between stakeholders, including Engineering, Contractors, Vendors, Operations, HSE, and Quality.
  • Plan and execute field work in collaboration with Construction Management, Quality Management, HSE teams, Contractors, and Vendors.
  • Monitor contractor progress, ensuring adherence to man-hour, cost budgets, and project schedule. Report deviations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide input to the project controls team for cost and schedule reporting.
  • Maintain proper records in the electronic filing system as per company procedures.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of scope changes, coordinating the review of change order documents.
