<strong>Role Overview</strong><p><br></p>We have a proud heritage within our Global HVDC business, where we provide Role Overview<p><br></p>High-Voltage Direct Current systems which enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of networks, in the renewable power sector, creating sustainable and integrated solutions.<p><br></p>This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Project Director to join our HVDC team,.<p><br></p>As the Project Director, you will provide leadership for the projects within your portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall scope of the project is delivered, taking ownership for the forecast, risk and financial management, whilst also working closely with functional leads to ensure exceptional overall project execution and delivery.<p><br></p>This key role oversees project teams and coordinates activities to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget, to a high standard. You will provide the leadership and strategic direction when managing risks, monitoring finances and in project delivery. The Health, Safety, Environment and Security of the project and all those working within it will be a top priority.<p><br></p>Our business is global and is expanding rapidly; and therefore, this brings opportunity for you to travel nationally & internationally to deliver our projects. You will be required to travel as needed, which could be upward of 25% of your time, depending on the projects you are assigned to.<p><br></p>If you have a proven track record and passion for driving large complex EPC projects, we want to hear from you! We are looking to talk to established Project Directors, as well as those well established at Senior Project Manager level who are looking for that next step in their career.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensuring our core values of safety and integrity, creating a positive workforce culture on your sites.</li><li>Committed to delivering customer and stakeholder collaboration and satisfaction.</li><li>Effectively planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling activities necessary for predictable fulfilment of planned activities with efficient utilization of available resources.</li><li>Monitoring and controlling project financials to maintain or improve contract margins, cash flow and cash generation, whilst managing and mitigating risk.</li><li>Reporting status/progress to customer, internal organisation and other stake holders with appropriate detail.</li><li>Managing scope including the collection and management of all project issues.</li><li>Ensuring that all opportunities for Customer Satisfaction, Gross Margin improvement and/or Project Growth are captured and acted upon.</li></ul><p><br></p>Your Background<p><br></p><ul><li>A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in an engineering or other relevant field.</li><li>Extensive years of experience in large multi-faceted electrical projects.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in project management of large or mega projects.</li><li>Experience managing projects under different contractual models.</li><li>Proactive and highly organized, experience in coordinating multiple teams in remote locations within a complex/matrixed organisation.</li><li>Financial knowledge and commercial skills in relation to EPC project management.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p>Basic Info Location Jeddah, Maddinah, Saudi Arabia Job type Full time Experience Executive Job function Project | Program Management Contract Regular Publication date 2023-06-12 Reference number R0020795
