Job Description

Job Purpose:

To coordinate with external vendors, internal IT team and Business Departments on projects and ensure it is implemented to meet customer expectations therefore ensuring smooth running of department functions.

Project & Change Management

1. Support the Project Manager during concept phase of a project, planning, sizing and cost estimation therefore ensuring the Project is executed in line with the IT‐Management views and directions.

2. Manage and coordinate activities during Project life cycle in terms of the team and deliverables.

3. Maintain Project plan, track and report updated progress report to IT steering committee.

4. Document Project Management deliverables & Project Plans.

5. Support the Project within schedule and cost without compromising on scope and quality.

6. Ensure Project change risks or issues are highlighted in good time to the appropriate boards and Project Managers.

7. Attend Project change management requirements and Chair Change Advisory Board meetings (CAB).

Minimum requirements & Evaluation criteria :

Should have worked with at least two large sized Projects in the Role of Project Coordinator.

IT Standards

8. Using the defined CMMI & ITIL process IT Projects thus ensuring high quality project

deliverables.

9. Follow defined IT standards in terms of Project documentation and maintain its shared

repository.

10. Ensure Project change risks or issues are highlighted in good time to the appropriate boards.

Minimum requirements & Evaluation criteria :

Should have excellent knowledge of CMMI & ITIL Standards with implementation experience.

Business Analysis

11. To define business processes/ workflow to effectively meet operational demands.

12. To provide analysis for functional and business requirements and ensure its compliance with

DP World IT standards and Guidelines.

13. To document business requirements related to IT Solutions for management review and

14. Coordinates/Meeting with clients/business users/outsource partners and project team in

documenting Project deliverables in terms of Business requirements, User testing, User Manuals and User Trainings.

Minimum requirements & Evaluation criteria :

Should have good knowledge of Business Analysis with prior experience.

Others

15. Schedule & Document Meetings with/for Business Users/Outsource Partners/IT Teams and for IT Project Steering Committee or Management Meetings.

16. To coordinate with external vendors and consultants for Project/Technical consultancy services
