<strong><u>Summary<br><br></u></strong>The Project Controls Technical Excellence and Data Governance Lead reports to the Regional Data Analytics &amp; Assurance Director. As a Technical Excellence Lead for Project Controls, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence in project control processes and procedures and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of project control practices. You will be working closely with project controls manager, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project controls function is integrated and aligned. This role also includes the development of digital project management tools, maintenance of business data structure and the application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Models.<br><br><strong><u>Technical Excellence<br></u></strong><ul><li>Develop and maintain technical standards and procedures for project controls</li><li>Identify areas for improvement in project control practices, and lead initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of project controls</li><li>Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders on project controls processes and procedures</li><li>Conduct technical reviews of project controls processes and procedures to identify gaps and areas for improvement</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to develop project controls plans and strategies that align with project objectives</li><li>Develop and provide training and coaching to project teams on project controls processes and procedures, and promote a culture of continuous improvement</li><li>Maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project controls, and apply this knowledge to improve project performance and outcomes<br></li></ul><u>Digital &amp; Data Governance<br></u><ul><li>Own the development of ICS &amp; DI and act as the technical expert</li><li>Work with business stakeholders to capture requirement and work with the developers to prioritize</li><li>Ensure that our tools in the business are aligned with our digital strategy</li><li>Work with the GTC team on Automation – low code no code opportunities</li><li>Work with the digital governance group to ensure that the business is working to the best data governance practices.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, with at least 3 years in a leadership role</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of project controls processes and procedures</li><li>Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing technical standards and procedures</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks to project schedules, budgets, and quality</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills</li></ul>
