Job Description
<p>The Project control Manager is a key member of the Project Management Team and is the primary link between Al Khozama and the project delivery teams in all commercial and cost matters. The Project Control Manager carries the overarching responsibility of managing the commercial aspects of the Al Khozama consultant and construction contracts, including advising AL Khozama on commercial and cost issues, administration of the contracts, agreeing on processes and procedures with key suppliers and the management of the Commercial Management Team</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Create, monitor, and analyse project schedules and identify the critical path and project milestones/targets to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports.</li><li>Prepare procurement schedule, shop drawings schedule and submittal schedule and monitor/ update the same.</li><li>Track baselines, perform what-if analysis to develop contingency plans and resolve any problems, bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts</li><li>Prepare Monthly Progress Reports and project Dashboard.</li><li>Provide high level commercial direction and support to the project delivery team.</li><li>Actively manage commercial risk by working closely with the Project team to enhance processes and procedures. </li><li>Represent AK to external entities and establish commercial relationships while assuring compliance with contract conditions and relevant standards</li><li>Lead preparation of Invitation to Tender Packages</li><li>Communicate with contractors and suppliers on outstanding issues.</li><li>Maintains consistency among the project teams’ commercial management and delivery processes and ensures AK’s expectations and requirements are integrated into the program’s commercial processes. </li><li>Oversees the project commercial teams to ensure the overall commercial program is managed in a professional, legal and ethical manner and that it maintains the highest level of quality. </li><li>Develops and implements commercial audit processes and ensures commercial performance continuously exceeds established benchmarks. </li><li>Provides detailed recommendations to the program leadership team and AK by preparing budgets, forecasts, comprehensive financial analysis and other commercial data studies as necessary.</li><li>Create and execute internal cost controls and offer Internal Auditor services to assure controls. </li><li>Maintain current and forecasted Cash Flow data when compared to projected Cash Flow. </li><li>Manage project accounting databases to ensure timely security and control. </li><li>Offer direct financial communication with project team, internal financing department, subcontractors and Joint Venture owners. </li><li>Ensure financial information accuracy between program – level and subproject reporting. </li><li>Support Project Management Office Supervisor in project financial management and divisional reporting.</li></ul>
