<strong>Program Manager, Corporate Innovation – to support a fast-pilot program in BeautyTech for one of the leading global players.</strong><p><br></p><strong>Location: Remote (with travel expected to Dubai and Riyadh; remote but based in Dubai is a plus, </strong><strong>with travel expected to Dubai and Riyadh; </strong><strong>)</strong><p><br></p><strong>Language: Fluent in English, (Fluency in Arabic is preferred, but not a must),</strong><p><br></p><strong>Start time: This is an urgent role. We will be driving these outcomes forward by sourcing, vetting and training relevant Startups through our community of internal and external members (employees, startups, and experts) that can support the client’s goals in terms of innovation and growth.<p><br></p>As program manager, you will lead the successful execution of this program – leveraging your consulting and benchmarking experience to deliver a highly personalized program. You will own the operational funnel of the program and become a key ally of the leading stakeholder. You will also be identifying new value-adding activities in terms of content, networks and coaching that go above and beyond in delivering the best in entrepreneurial programs.<p><br></p><strong>Stakeholder management</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Client relationship management – Primary point of contact with senior management on customer side</li><li>End-to-end management of the program, ensuring successful outcomes for all participants and stakeholders. You will need to project manage across shifting timelines, and be able to navigate complexities of client servicing.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Program management</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>You will need to creatively build and navigate global networks, manage data and produce excellent reports that showcases innovation opportunities to our client</li><li>Ownership of the overall program development, including stakeholder and participant management, and coordination of internal resources.</li><li>Sourcing, analysis and vetting of potential participants of the fast pilot according to the client’s requirement.</li><li>Liasing with the stakeholder to execute strategies and campaigns to source applications, and maximise the visibility and PR impact of the program.</li><li>Responsible to execute demo events, including management of high profile stakeholders</li><li>Work closely with AstroLabs program teams in Dubai and Riyadh to ensure seamless and quality execution</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in one or all of the following: consulting, corporate innovation, project management or health/beauty/retail industry</li><li>Previous proven experience in startup sourcing, or on accelerator or innovation projects, ideally in the MENA region</li><li>Previous management experience, building and managing teams and interfacing with key stakeholder and public sector clients</li><li>Excellent spoken and written English writing and presentation skills (Arabic is a plus)</li><li>Structured and super organized/works well under pressure</li><li>Has proven record of conducting analysis of startups, including interviews and managing analysis data</li><li>Flexibility and coachability</li><li>Proven interest and passion for entrepreneurship and exposure to the local or international startup ecosystem</li><li>Previous experience evaluating and scouting tech startups</li><li>Ability to produce consultant-level presentation decks</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What’s In It For You</strong><p><br></p>IMPORTANT: Read this before you apply: https://go.astrolabs.com/astrolife<p><br></p>Your role will be to source innovative startups that will help with the digital transformation of a leading Beauty company at a regional level.<p><br></p>You will be exposed to the latest innovations in retail and beauty tech, and have the opportunity to intelligently drive recommendations and strategy discussions with our client.<p><br></p>Grow your network with smart and driven founders, building the most innovative products in the world.<p><br></p>You will become part of a high-performance team focused on helping our customers.
