As part of our client strategic growth plans, we seek an experienced <strong>Program Manager with a technical background</strong> to join our dynamic team.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As a Program Manager, you will oversee and manage the successful execution of aerospace programs, focusing on aerostructures or detail parts manufacturing. You will leverage your technical expertise, program management skills, and customer interface experience to drive our projects’ profitability, quality, and on-time delivery. A strong background in new product industrialization, customer negotiations, and aerospace manufacturing accreditation will be key to your success in this role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>- Plan and execute projects, assessing costs, schedules, and engineering requirements to ensure successful completion within the defined scope.</p><p>- Demonstrate expertise in the aviation industry and aerospace engineering, understanding various aspects of the field and incorporating best practices into program management.</p><p>- Manage the business aspects of the program, including revenue, costing, and profitability, ensuring financial objectives are met.</p><p>- Oversee compliance with aerospace manufacturing approvals, OEM technical qualifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the program lifecycle.</p><p>- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring effective communication, understanding of their requirements, and managing customer expectations.</p><p>- Lead customer negotiations, including contract discussions, change management, and scope alignment, while strongly focusing on customer satisfaction.</p><p>- Build and manage project teams, defining roles and responsibilities, and ensuring deadlines and schedules are met with high-quality deliverables.</p><p>- Implement structured methodologies, such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), to drive effective new product industrialization processes.</p><p>- Monitor program progress, identifying risks, issues, and obstacles and proactively implementing mitigation plans to ensure program success.</p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project activities.</p><p>- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting program status, key milestones, and potential areas of improvement.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering </strong>or a related field is preferred.</p><p>- Minimum of 10 years of industrial experience, with a minimum of 4 years as a Program Manager at an OEM or Tier one Aerostructures manufacturer.</p><p>- Extensive experience in aerostructures or detail parts manufacturing, with a solid understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and accreditation.</p><p>- Proven track record in managing program Profit & Loss (P&L), customer interface, and new product industrialization.</p><p>- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to navigate and resolve engineering problems within the aerospace industry.</p><p>- Demonstrated expertise in customer negotiations and managing customer requirements throughout the entire program lifecycle.</p><p>- Familiarity with structured methodologies such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new product industrialization.</p><p>- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing project teams.</p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and meeting program objectives.</p><p><br></p><p>If you are a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager with a passion for delivering excellence in aerospace manufacturing, we invite you to join our team.</p><p><br></p><p>Apply today to be part of our exciting journey in the aviation industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p>
