<strong>Job Description:</strong><p><br></p>TSC has an immediate requirement for a Project Controls Analyst II. The candidate will be assigned as a Project Controls Analyst to individual programs and divisions to help ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The candidate will report directly to the Project Controls Lead.<p><br></p><strong>Duties and responsibilities: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop annual business unit program budgets in coordination with Program Management Staff. </li><li>Implement financial policies; develop and manage cost/schedule baseline data analysis, and report formats in support of customer contracts. </li><li>Develop and maintain estimates-to-completion, estimates-at-completion, and burn rate analyses. </li><li>Perform profit analysis on Time and Materials (T&M) contracts. </li><li>Maintain labor cost and project labor category pricing and provide insight into financial elements of the contract to include profitability matrixes, while maintaining proper profit margins. </li><li>Forecast financial data for programs and divisions, focus on Income Statement EBITDA baseline management (including IDL/DL ratios and cost center variance management), analyze profitability for contractual milestones, tracking of over/under runs of projects, and prepare profit models. </li><li>Participates in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract types, sizes, complexity, and levels of risk, including monthly program reviews. </li><li>Maintain monthly budget vs. actual analysis, creates financial forecasts based upon input from the Program Managers, maintain forecasting reports and identify and communicates any risks such as cost overruns, under spending, vacancy issues etc. to the Operations team. </li><li>Review monthly financial reports for accuracy and to identify potential issues. Research and recommend/take actions to correct issues to include but not limited to: costs charged to a contract where the POP has ended, inaccurate revenue and profit recognition, unapproved workforce charging, etc. Responsible for monthly revenue review and inputs, corrections to the accounting system for time and cost accuracy. </li><li>Responsible for numerous financial reports detailing monthly progress of the project. </li><li>Work independently and contribute to an integrated team through statistical reporting, analysis, and estimates. </li><li>Prepare written and verbal reports to management related to the financial analysis of each contract. </li><li>Work closely with the accounting team to identify and resolve accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payables (AP) issues</li><li>Work closely with the contracts department when new contracts are established, or contract modifications are required</li><li>Must interface with program manager, senior management, company contract employees, as well as other functional areas including DoD contracts, finance, accounts receivable, procurement, and subcontracts management. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field. </li><li>3+ years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in project controls</li><li>Experienced in all contract / subcontract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP etc.)</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel. </li><li>Excellent verbal/written communication skills</li><li>Analytical and independent problem-solving skills</li><li>Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work</li><li>Industry experience with DoD contracting</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Preferred Qualifications: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Experience with Deltek Cost Point Accounting System</li><li>Experience with Cognos report writing</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>U.S. Citizenship Required: </strong>Yes<p><br></p><strong>Security Clearance Required: </strong> No<p><br></p><strong>Travel:</strong> None<p><br></p><strong>Relocation Assistance Available: </strong> No<p><br></p><strong>Position Contingent upon Award of Contract: </strong> No<p><br></p><strong>TSC Benefits:</strong><p><br></p>TSC offers a stable work environment, a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package; including ESOP contributions, 401k Matching Program, Flexible Work Schedules, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Leave and much more.<p><br></p><strong>Applying to TSC:</strong><p><br></p>Only those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
