<strong><u>Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li>University degree</li><li>7+ years of professional development/HR experience, ideally in a professional services environment</li><li>Strong business knowledge</li><li>Strong interest in professional development and coaching individuals</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)</li><li>Resourceful problem solving</li><li>Excellent administrative skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and in conflict situations – finding win/win solutions among stakeholders with different priorities</li><li>A can do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile</li><li>Strong integrity, maturity and fairness in dealing with people and in maintaining confidential information<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>What You’ll Do<br><br></u></strong>As the Manager of Professional Development you will be responsible for overseeing a subset of the PD team, to shape, manage and deliver core processes (staffing, PD support, reviews and other people initiatives). You will also ensure the smooth delivery and continuous improvement of these functions incorporating our overall office people priorities and the specific needs of the various cohorts.<br><br>You will manage the consulting staffing process including (but not limited to) obtaining detailed information from partners regarding studies and staffing needs; developing professional relationships with consultants to understand their experience, aspirations and circumstances; providing coaching and guidance to the consultants (CSP) on their staffing and professional development; recommending best available teams for each study, balancing client, team and individual needs; communicating decisions and rationale; coordinating with other relevant departments such as finance (e.g. on billing arrangements) and recruiting (e.g. on new hires).<br><br>You will maintain accurate and up-to-date information in all people information systems and develop these systems so that they are reliable and efficient; lead analysis and reporting of key staffing and professional development metrics for local office leadership.<br><br>You will develop a network of staffers/PD managers within the firm to facilitate inbound/outbound staffing assignments and to ensure the flow and implementation of best practices.<br><br>You will lead office-based consultant evaluation processes (e.g. semi-annual reviews (SARs), upward feedback etc.) along with other relevant people leaders.<br><br>You will monitor and raise emerging people issues with office leadership and drive associated problem solving and programme development as needed.<br><br>You will enhance CSP development by leading/participating in office initiatives such as new hire induction, team talks/learnings and development leader group meetings.<br><br>You will manage other CSP personnel practices as needed e.g. budgets, exit/leave processes, mobility etc.<br><br>You will maintain a solid network of PD and staffing colleagues within the region and broader firm to facilitate cross-office staffing, best practice sharing and implementation of regional/firm initiatives.<br><br>You will build cohort and office connectivity, being a sounding board for community building activities and working with others to enhance positive experience for consultants.<br><br><strong><u>Who You’ll Work With<br><br></u></strong>You will join our office in Riyadh or Dubai.<br><br>As part of the Staffing and Professional Development team in Middle East Office (MEO), you will work closely with consultants, partners, and other team members while supporting our consultants’ professional development.
