Production Technician
Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity to Manage Ensure safe and accurate operation of wells, production processes and utility systems in accordance with Company Procedures. NOC Offshore Field: Al Shaheen Field
Your main duties will be to: –
- Assist the Production Supervisor in safe delivery of core business through active management of production tasks and core operational activities.
- Act as a Permit Authority to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the Permit to Work process and company requirements
- Provide the Production Supervisor with analysis and comment on production volumes, opportunities and risks in order to improve business performance.
- Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure production targets are met and production / reinjection volumes are maximized
- Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment, fostering collaboration across the organization
- Promote cost consciousness in order to embed a strong cost culture
Drive an incident free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident free culture - Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, that ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times
- Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines to ensure Process Safety, Operational
- Safety and Plant Integrity.
- Conduct chemical stock checks and ensure chemical injections are optimised
- Isolate and make safe equipment for maintenance
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks
Profile
Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent)
Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
