Job Description

My client is the leading and technically most advanced manufacturer, supplier and distributer Specialized in Packaging Solutions and Printing Products in the UAE, GCC, MENA, Africa and Europe.

The Production Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and control of the whole manufacturing processes ensuring that the products are produced efficiently, at the right cost, right time and at the required level of quality.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the plant OEE is maintained above the target.

  • Ensure production plan is followed as per sales targets

  • Regular meetings and discussions with sale and planning team to optimize production plan

  • Ensure Unplanned downtime is maintained below target

  • Ensure quality of the products manufactured meets customer targets

  • Ensure ERP is updated accurately at all times

  • Ensure all safety standards are followed

  • Ensure scrap level is maintained below target

  • Responsible for new machine installation and commissioning

  • Coordinating with OEM for troubleshooting and spare parts order

  • Coordinating with OEMs to complete maintenance contracts and schedule machines after discussing with sales and planning team

  • Ensure all preventive maintenance schedule is set for all the machines and followed

  • Daily and Monthly production reports

  • Responsible for facility maintenance

  • Arrange annual leave schedule for operations team

  • Implementation of FSSC 22000 for operations

  • Ensure all utilities are maintained and working efficiently

  • Optimizing spare parts inventory

  • Team skill set assessment and planning training

  • Ensure adequate manpower is available according to production schedule

  • Ensure production plan provided is followed and completed on time

  • Ensure quality of products manufactured meets customer targets

Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in similar industry
