Newly created role to lead Podcast production for a leading national publisher. You will be responsible for growing podcast audience and managing the podcast team on a day-to-day basis.

* Responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to grow podcast audience
* Managing the podcast team including the scheduling, administration, producing, recording, editing, publishing and promoting of podcasts to the highest editorial standards
* Building strong relationships with platforms, partners and others to create strategic opportunities to grow podcasts
* Working diligently to ensure best practices toward discoverability
* Remain up-to-date on the podcast marketing landscape and monitoring how audiences respond to different techniques including ad promos, on and off platform opportunities, live events, etc.
* Responding quickly to opportunities to capitalise on news and features
* Creative remit to generate original, Middle East relevant content
* Actively participate in the newsroom and news flow to maximise audience reach
* Work with multimedia editor to build and improve overall podcast offering
