Job Description
Role Objectives:
The incumbent will assist the Product Manager β Cards in managing the corporate cards product portfolio, in support of the functional / corporate strategies and objectives, in line with the regulatory guidelines, and internal policies. The incumbent will support in driving Visa/FI Commercial program sales volumes by securing targeted opportunities in close collaboration with the respective internal stakeholders. The incumbent will support in managing cross-functional product management efforts of value-added cards products and services for the corporate client segment, including but not limited to quality assurance and client support, research & analysis efforts, process streamlining/documentations etc.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally in handling the sales cycle for the corporate cards, including identification of sales leads and business opportunities in alignment with the client business/requirements.
- Support in maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities moving them through the sales / program optimization cycle.
- Support in monitoring/reporting on product performance after incorporation of additional features / modification of features as a continuous improvement effort.
- Support in the identification, and handle efforts on account of continuous engagement or alliances with channel partners / business partnerships to complement consistent growth or develop opportunities of cards products in existing /new markets.
- Support in monitoring, and report on the sales progress pertaining to various corporate cards products, ensuring all performance standards are met in terms of the business targets, controls, compliance, and quality standards.
- Assist in the development / delivery of new, and management of existing corporate card products, ensuring participation and buy-in from internal / external stakeholders.
- Support in the research & analysis efforts, furthering the identification, and analysis of current / target marketplace, tendencies and competitors in terms of corporate cards segment.
- Work cross-functionally in initiating / conducting surveys and prospect visits to ascertain requirements, and gaps in the respective market segments within the corporate cards market.
- Assist in preparing the proposals for the respective regulatory authority review and approval, prior to implementation.
- Liaise with the Risk Management function, in evaluating, outlining and managing potential operational risk for the corporate cards products, and update the Product Manager β Cards on the same.
- Extend coordination efforts with the BUs, BIU and Quality Assurance team in continuous identification / analysis of customer and competitive insights for leveraging the corporate cards sales channels.
- Support in the review of policies and procedures, including revisions, and assess the impact on the cards portfolio, as assigned.
- Follow the audit, compliance and procedural control measures set by the management.
Education and Experience Required:
- Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Banking and Finance, and/or Sales and Marketing from a recognized university.
- Masterβs degree in management any other related discipline.
- 06-10 years of total experience in financial services/banking industry, entailing responsibilities pertaining to the specific area of discipline.
- Strong understanding of the local/global banking industry.
- Experience in Corporate Card product management role with expert knowledge of commercial payments or related B2B industries.
- Experience in business sales or client development experience in commercial payments
