Product Manager – Connections
Riyadh / Product β Product Management / Full Time Office Based / On-site Lean provides developers a universal API to access their customer’s financial accounts from across the Middle East. The Product Team at Lean is responsible for building the right things, and building things right. We work at the intersection of every department at Lean, engaging with developers, sales, marketing, customer success and integrations to take our products from ideation to production. As a Product Manager in Connections at Lean, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of connections between our products and financial institutions, including banks.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background, with experience working in the financial industry. They should be able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and collaboration skills are also important, as this role will involve working with teams across the organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
+ Integrating with new banks: You will be responsible for identifying and integrating with new banks to expand the reach of our products and services. This will involve building relationships with financial institutions and working with our technical team to ensure a smooth integration.
+ Integrating with third party data sources: You may find ways to increase the capabilities of what clients can achieve with Lean by leveraging additional integrations with third parties.
+ Ensuring compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that our bank connections are conformant and compliant with relevant regulations and standards. You will also be responsible for remediating any issues found with banks.
+ Supporting product development: You will work with other Product Managers to support the development and rollout of features that leverage data gained from financial infrastructure. This may involve working with data scientists and engineers to develop algorithms or data pipelines.
+ Maintaining infrastructure: You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of our Connections infrastructure. This will involve working with engineers to find solutions to performance and experience issues.
+ Enabling clients: You will work with Sales, Marketing, and Integration teams to enable our clients to go to market with our product(s). This may involve providing technical support, developing marketing materials, or coordinating with integration partners.
+ Strong technical background and understanding of software development.
+ Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
+ Ability to develop a product vision and strategy.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Experience in the financial sector, startups, B2B and SaaS/API companies would be highly advantageous.
