<p>The role will be responsible for customer insight (research), business intelligence, forecasting and business performance analysis as well as the development & implementation of products aimed at delivering revenue & profits for the business unit. The role will also conduct business analysis and provide input to management on business and product performance (KPIs). Will work closely with product owners to develop product communication, research and implementation plans for core product programs</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Description:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide expertise and advice based on marketing and business intelligence to ensure retail marketing strategies are developed and implemented to achieve goals.</li><li>Identify opportunities that significantly drive revenue and profit through marketing intelligence gathered from analytical reviews process.</li><li>Manage the monthly reporting process and provide key product/business performance information to aid management in decision making.</li><li>Project management of on-going research projects.</li><li>Improve / enhance product reporting templates to meet changing business needs.</li><li>Review research outputs for information relevance and accuracy.</li><li>Provide Commercial functions with research outputs for purposes of performance measurements and for decision-making.</li><li>Present analytical presentations and recommendations to management and groups on key projects.</li><li>Gather secondary research data/ market info for preparation of research brief.</li><li>Industry / Market Analysis.</li><li>Segment industries and sectors for sales penetration.</li><li>Communicate essential market / industry information to product owners.</li><li>Provide and seek support towards successful implementation of marketing campaigns and new products and services (BCA analysis, etc)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.</li><li>Analyzes and resolves complex cross-functional issues.</li><li>Well-developed relationship skills and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units.</li><li>Numeric literacy & analytical, presentation and project management skills.</li><li>Experience of the cross-functional inter-relationships and impacts of all products developed through exposure to country environment.</li><li>Understanding of the marketing mix and product life cycle concepts and ability to use market research into providing insightful and relevant analysis to management on product/program performance and positioning.</li><li>Experience in project management, research and analysis, developing market intelligence and supervising staff. At least 3 years within Express environment, preferably with knowledge and exposure to product management and sales.</li><li>Degree in Business/Marketing</li></ul>
