Job Description
<p>We are seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our team in the industry of decorative chocolate, souvenirs, and celebrations. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and designing unique and visually appealing products that bring joy to our customers’ celebrations and enhance their gifting experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and sales, to ensure the successful development and launch of our product line.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ol><li>Conceptualize and Design: Utilize your creativity and artistic skills to conceive innovative ideas for decorative chocolate, souvenirs, and celebratory products.</li><li>Visual Design: Develop sketches, renderings, and digital designs that effectively communicate your ideas and vision for new products. Ensure the designs align with brand aesthetics, quality standards, and target market preferences.</li><li>Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, such as decorative elements, to enhance the visual appeal and overall quality of the products.</li><li>Prototype Development: Create physical or digital prototypes of your designs to evaluate their feasibility, functionality, and visual impact. </li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and sales, to understand customer preferences, market trends, and business goals. Collaborate to ensure designs meet customer needs and align with brand positioning.</li><li>Quality Assurance: Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure the final products meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and competitors’ offerings. Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and potential areas for innovation.</li><li>Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design briefs, specifications, and technical drawings to effectively communicate design intent to production teams.</li><li>Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of design milestones and adherence to project timelines.</li></ol><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. A relevant combination of education and experience will also be considered.</li><li>Proven experience as a Product Designer, preferably in the gift industry.</li><li>Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative, visually appealing product designs.</li><li>Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and 3D modeling.</li><li>Excellent understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and trends.</li><li>Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards relevant to the industry.</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.</li><li>Passion for creativity, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach.</li><li>Knowledge or experience in the field of chocolate or confectionery is a plus.</li></ul><p></p>
