We aspire to remove frictions that prohibit people from being globally mobile, beginning with accommodation experiences.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What is the role?</strong></p><p>As a product designer at Silkhaus you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our product and driving the user experience forward. You’ll be responsible for creating beautiful and functional designs that solve complex problems and delight our users. You will report directly to the Head of Product, and will work closely with Product and Engineering to bring wonderful products to life.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What do you bring to the table?</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.</li><li>Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.</li><li>Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.</li><li>Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, process, and thinking.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Experience with user research and usability testing is a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll get</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive compensation package&nbsp;including ESOP</li><li>Health insurance plan from a leading provider</li><li>Flexible working hours &amp; locations: you’re based in Dubai, where you can work from our beautiful office or coworking space and have the option to work from home for 1 day/week</li><li>Remote working for up to 20 days per year from any location</li><li>Performance evaluations that are based on your behaviors and outcomes, and not on facetime in the office</li><li>Generous annual leave policy</li><li>Team events (including family events where significant others and children are welcome)</li><li>International travel opportunities as we expand across the region</li></ul>
