You’ll work closely with our product managers, engineering &amp; brand teams to deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs and final products that have a direct impact on the customer’s user-experience of our product.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Core Competencies-</u></strong></p><ul><li>Working experience in multiple organizations as a Product Designer, UX Designer or UX Researcher.</li><li>Proficiency in Sigma, Sketch, Adobe XD or equivalent design tools.</li><li>Passionate about designing for users and strong believer in the importance of user research.</li><li>Intellectually curious and always attempting to seek out additional knowledge and viewpoints.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Desired Skills</u>-</strong></p><ul><li>Creates detailed, organized, and clear project plans and keeps track of simultaneous fast-moving projects and timelines.</li><li>Can easily read between the lines into what people and communicated and why. Can open lines of communication across teams. Is a pro at holding (and keeping) people accountable.</li><li>Is skillful at assigning and delegating tasks amongst the team based on skillset, professional interest, and capability.</li><li>Create pixel-perfect product design solutions, thoughtfully considered user flows, and crisply defined UI animations.</li><li>Craft detailed and thorough user journeys that account for all edge cases and error states, leaving no holes or gaps in the experience.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, including typography, spacing, state changes, interactions, colour, and error states.</li><li>Clear understanding of different research methods and how to embed these within a process to validate design decisions.</li><li>Can provide multiple solutions to a problem, knows when to stand strong and can adapt to business requirements to meet deadlines where necessary.</li><li>Incorporates behavioral patterns and psychological theory into design solutions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Preferable but not necessary</u>-</strong></p><ul><li>Ecommerce experience.</li><li>Experience in UI designing.</li><li>Masters’ student in an accredited university program, preferably in design with an emphasis on data visualization.</li><li>GCC Experience.</li><li>Experience working in a scrum/squad team setup.</li></ul>
