<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p><span>We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry. As a crucial member of our team, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and services throughout our supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess a UAE driving license, have an engineering background, and hold a CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement &amp; Supply) qualification. Additionally, prior experience in using SAGE or any other ERP systems will be highly advantageous.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ol><li>Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs, conduct market research, source suppliers, and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms and conditions while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with service level agreements and cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, avoiding shortages or excess inventory, and minimizing holding costs.</li><li>Purchase Order Processing: Generate purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely placement and delivery of orders to meet production schedules.</li><li>Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality or supplier relationships, actively seeking competitive pricing and negotiating favorable terms.</li><li>Logistics and Shipping: Coordinate and monitor the transportation and delivery of goods, optimizing shipment methods and working to resolve any potential issues that may arise.</li><li>Compliance and Risk Management: Stay informed about relevant industry regulations, customs requirements, and tariffs to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. Mitigate risks associated with the supply chain by implementing contingency plans.</li><li>Data Analysis: Utilize data from ERP systems, SAGE, and other tools to analyze supplier performance, track procurement metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives within the procurement function, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ol><li>Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist within the manufacturing industry.</li><li>Valid UAE driving license.</li><li>Background in engineering (e.g., degree in Engineering or related field) to understand technical aspects of procurement.</li><li>CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement &amp; Supply) qualification preferred.</li><li>Experience in using SAGE or other ERP systems for procurement and inventory management.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to utilize data for decision-making and process improvement.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles and best practices.</li><li>Proven track record in cost optimization and supplier performance management.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ol>
