It has the businesses of automobile trading, dealership development, spare parts and multi-brand service.</p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced <strong>Procurement Officer</strong> to join our team in the automobile industry. As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process for vehicles from different markets, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost efficiency and high-quality purchases. Additionally, you will be responsible for researching and identifying new suppliers locally, in GCC countries, as well as in the USA and Canada. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in updating the management with market intelligence, including different models and pricing.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement procurement plans for the purchase of vehicles from various markets.</li><li>Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased, ensuring they meet the required standards.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure favorable terms and conditions.</li><li>Research and evaluate prospective suppliers to identify new sources of vehicles and related services.</li><li>Evaluate supplier products and services, negotiate pricing, and ensure that approved purchases are cost efficient and of high quality.</li><li>Collaborate with the sales team to understand their vehicle requirements and purchase cars accordingly.</li><li>Keep the management updated with market intelligence, including information on different models and pricing.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience as a Procurement Officer in the automobile industry or a similar role.</li><li>Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to review and compare products and services effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain good supplier relations.</li><li>Knowledge of procurement strategies and best practices in the automobile industry.</li><li>Familiarity with local and international markets, including GCC countries, the USA, and Canada.</li><li>Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office suite.</li><li>Attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions based on market research and analysis.</li></ul><p>If you are a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for procurement in the automobile industry, we would love to hear from you.
