Job Summary

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Chief Procurement & Supply Chain Officer, the Procurement Director leads the Procurement team that is responsible for professional sourcing of products/services meeting the specified needs of the Business at most competitive commercial terms.

Job Responsibilities 1

Executive Procurement of the relevant material/services portfolios: Decides what to buy, where to buy, how to buy, when to buy and who will buy for respective portfolios and categories.

Develops and implements strategies for the procurement of the respective material/services.

Follows market conditions, prepare price trends and formulate future markets trends for the business.

Supports the business with accurate price forecasting.

Prepares information on purchase prices and conditions to enable proper budgeting and cash forecasting.

Leads, direct and manage the procurement organization to meet goals and objectives in support to the overall business strategy.

Establishes the strategic vision and goals and ensure execution of all common procurement strategies for a responsible portfolio/category of materials/services.

Job Responsibilities 2

Develops and implements PIH procurement strategies, policies and processes to ensure a consistent and standardized approach and to drive improvements and efficiencies in procurement activities.

Builds and maintains industry knowledge and ensures advanced business models to develop strategies and structure for business relationships.

Establishes clear and measurable goals that challenge procurement to continuously improve; to use financial and quantitative data to manage performance.

Ensures to deliver the financial targets and continuously develop metrics to deliver high performance cost and financial savings.

Enhances the procurement capabilities by supporting the development of processes, technology and tools.

Oversees the rationalization of suppliers, materials and services that meet business requirements.

Additional Responsibilities 3

Job Knowledge & Skills

β€’ Procurement and supply chain experience (in Productive Items) and shared services or marketing experience (in indirect procurement).Leadership experience is a must.Contacts of Suppliers, Agents, 3 PM, 3rd Party Service Providers. Advisors and benchmarking organizations, professional organizations.

β€’ ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business Administration
Master’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics related course or any Related Technical Certificates
