Role Purpose:
Obtaining, recording, cleaning and analyzing MAF groups extensive amount of Data produced across OPCOs (spend, budget, projects, savings etc.) to support Procurement Executives and Leadership with having the right insights and making appropriate informed decisions, and that performance of the Procurement function is tracked and reported as well as aligned with both other functions and stakeholders. Role holder needs to be an senior analytics specialist and data scientist.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Developing the reporting formats to deliver for the business real time data to meet the strategy and budget requirements
· Solicit and analyse the feedback from stakeholders for the Procurement team
· Manage and maintain procurement database ensuring clean and accurate data is available
· Provide periodic compliance and data analytics reports to procurement operations and category leads
· Analyse the spend profile to identify the improvement opportunities
· Support Audit with data and system/database access required, as well as with the interpretation of data and documents recorded.
· Help the entire Procurement Function with staying compliant with policies, procedures, standards and best practices at all times.
Minimum Experience/Qualifications
• Minimum 6 years’ progressive experience in managing all data analytics disciplines in a reputed company, preferably Retail / Real Estate in GCC, with 3 years in a senior specialist/analyst position, data scientist or analyst
• Bachelor’s degree
• Data Scientist
• Fluency in English and Arabic (Optional)
• Proven expertise in advanced analytics and emerging insights approaches e.g., cognitive and machine learning, data visualization.
• Experience with one or more visualization tools like Tableau, Qlikview, Cogno
