<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Job Overview: <br><br></strong>General Description includes basic process design and analysis on assigned deliverables in a McDermott project including deliverables such as conceptual process design, process simulations, heat and material balances, P&ID and PFD development. Work includes, among other things, conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations and equipment and material specification. Reports functionally to the Process Engineering Lead on a project and administratively to the Process Engineering Manager. Maintains and promotes a focus on McDermott’s end product whether engineering, fabrication or construction. Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines. Ensures effective management of change. Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, quantity and budget control.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Perform FEED, Studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis and calculations on engineering tasks</li><li>Apply knowledge and skills to complete varied assignments</li><li>Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures</li><li>Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines</li><li>Focus on completing work within budgets</li><li>Clearly communicate and explain information in straightforward engineering activities<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Essential Qualifications and Education:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Good experience in Offshore (Oil & Gas) designing and EPC projects (Green/brown field) for mainly Saudi Aramco Client</li><li>Lead project independently</li><li>Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Standards in addition to international Standards</li><li>Good experience in simulation (ASPEN HYSYS/flareNET) / HTRI / PIPENET</li><li>Good experience in sizing equipment (2/3 phase separator, pump, Heat Exchangers, KOD, Compressor, Columns etc.) and hydraulic calculation</li><li>Sound experience in developing process deliverables</li><li>Knowledge of flow assurance studies and related software (OLGA/PIPSIM/SPS) will be advantage</li><li>BE/ME/BS/MS in Chemical Engineering with at least 10 years’ experience in Offshore design and engineering<br><br></li></ul><strong>Company Overview and Core Values:<br><br></strong>McDermott is a premier, fully integrated provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry.
