Job Description

International architectural and engineering company are expanding their team due to an influx of projects in Saudi and are looking for a Principal Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Deliver multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion, within budget and to program.
  • Ensure the provision of efficient high quality structural engineering design.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients, contractors, design team and third parties.
  • Offer support and guidance to more junior members of the team.
  • Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities
  • Participate in Value Engineering workshops and studies
  • Assist in managing the broader team through mentoring and training.
  • Manage a large team of engineers, BIM engineers and technicians. Assign weekly work tasks.
  • Implement QAQC procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum a Bsc Degree in Civil and/or Structural engineering.
  • Miniumum of 15 years’ experience, including experience on large-scale building projects in the middle east region
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing a large team of engineers and technicians
  • Extensive knowledge of American codes and standards. Knowledge of Eurocodes would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software, preferably including ETABS and SAFE.
