<p><strong>Principal Specialist, Exploration Partnerships </strong></p><p>Responsible for identifying and developing strategic exploration partnerships and business development opportunities for Exploration &amp; Resource Development (ERD). Demonstrate a combination of technical expertise and business acumen to identify and evaluate potential exploration projects and partnerships, negotiate, and execute agreements, and manage relationships with partners and stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p> <strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></p><p> 1. Identify and evaluate exploration partnership and business development opportunities that align with ERD’s strategic goals and objectives</p><p> 2. Proactively lead the Joint Venture (JV) planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with JV relationships</p><p> 3. Develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure exploration partnership agreements, JV agreements, and other business development opportunities</p><p> 4. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management on exploration partnership and business development opportunities</p><p> 5. Represent ERD at industry events and conferences. Build and maintain a network of contacts within the mining industry and related sectors to identify potential partners and opportunities</p><p> 6. Collaborate with internal teams, including geologists, engineers, and legal counsel, to ensure the successful execution of exploration partnership agreements and business development opportunities</p><p> 7. Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote the ERD’s exploration partnerships and JV projects to stakeholders and investors</p><p> 8. Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities for ERD</p><p> 9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop exploration plans and budgets for joint venture projects, ensuring alignment with the ERD’s overall exploration strategy</p><p> 10. Develop and implement strategies for managing risk and mitigating potential issues related to exploration partnerships and joint venture agreements</p><p> </p><p><strong>Qualification &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar.</li><li><em><u>Minimum 4 years </u></em><u>of relevant experience in exploration partnerships and business development within the mining industry</u><em><u>.</u></em></li><li>Familiarity with the KSA mining, minerals, and exploration sector</li><li>Excellent communication and organization skills.</li></ul><p></p>
