Our ET<em>Advanced</em> technology will significantly extend the battery life for smartphones, wearables and IoT devices to make running out of power a thing of the past.<p><br></p>General Summary<p><br></p>The PMIC Design Engineer is a senior member of the PMIC design team with focused expertise in magnetic and/or capacitive DCDC converters. This engineer is responsible for aspects of architecture, implementation, and final performance of one major power management block in the team IC designs, and works to create, document, and file new IP. The successful candidate will have a strong track record for on-time tape-out of power management ICs and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment.<p><br></p><strong><u>Essential Job Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ownership of top-level power management blocks (e.g. magnetic and capacitive DCDC converters).</li><li>Design and implementation of production analog and power management IC sub-blocks.</li><li>Mentor and review other designers’ work.</li><li>Interact closely with PMIC systems, design, applications, and layout engineers.</li><li>Create innovative circuit, topology, and solution IP in collaboration with the team.</li><li>Key contributor for new IP creation documented by patent applications.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Required Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>MSEE+10yrs experience, or PhD+5yrs in power electronics.</li><li>Record of successful magnetic and capacitive power management converter IC designs. </li><li>Ability to analyze problems where established procedures do not exist and draw conclusions where considerable variation in interpretation is possible. </li><li>Position will most often perform as a final reviewer.</li></ul>
