<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Job Overview:<br><br></strong>Provides Management of HSE-related activities in support of all operations. This role serves as a focal point and provides Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) expertise and support to all facility activities. Direct an organization’s HSE programs. Develops, implements, and manages HSE programs, policies, and procedures. Must be aware of federal, state and local HSE laws to ensure the organization complies with all current HSE regulations. Develop business unit HSE management systems. Administers an HSE continuous improvement process.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Engage line management and staff to realize zero incident HSEperformance.</li><li>Prioritize and execute HSErelated tasks and projects.</li><li>Implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of McDermott and site local HSE program, standards, policies, procedures and reporting requirements.</li><li>Managing a positive interface with regulatory entities and internal customers.</li><li>Adopt and implement best industry practices for HSE.</li><li>Influence customers and/or organizational leadership to accomplish operational objectives.</li><li>Communicate with and advise senior management on issues and concernsrelating to projects and site operations requiring HSE support and guidance.</li><li>Communicates, presents or justifies overall HSE performance to management as necessary.</li><li>Provide advisory support to Technical Services andCustomer Services teams forthe provision of products,and spent product reclamation activities on a global basis.</li><li>Verify company and client compliance with Health,Safety & Environmental policies, Occupational Safety and HealthAdministration and EnvironmentalProtection Agency (or local jurisdiction)regulations, and other job-specified procedures or standards.</li><li>HSE Critical Activities Currently Include:</li><li>Hazard Effects Management</li><li>Audit</li><li>Regulatory Interpretation & permitting</li><li>Fire Related Systems</li><li>Environmental program & Product Stewardship</li><li>Management of IH Activities</li><li>Change Management (e.g. PSM related)</li><li>Support to field Technical Services team</li><li>HSE Level 1 Critical Tasks Include:</li><li>Tanks and Tank Farm Operations</li><li>Inspections and Approval of Safety Equipment and Systems</li><li>On Site Emergency Response</li><li>HSE Level 2 Critical Tasks Include:</li><li>Human Factors Engineering </li><li>HSE Case Development</li><li>Incident Investigation</li><li>HSE Audit Review</li><li>Supervision of Staff Performing Level 1 Critical Tasks</li><li>Vendor/Contractor HSE Assessment/Qualification; HSE Metric Reporting<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Essential Qualifications and Education:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field </li><li>10 years of HSE Management Experience within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery</li><li>Industry and professional certifications within theHSE field<br><br></li></ul>
