JOB TITLE: PRINCIPAL ENGINEER – SYSTEM ENGINEERING

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determine methods and solutions for complex engineering problems in tandem with the technical specialist and select the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications to ensure the project deliverables meet client’s requirements.
  • Perform overall quality control of the assigned work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project stakeholders to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Setting up, organizing, and implementing the Systems Engineering philosophy aimed at the execution phase of the projects
  • Ensures the efficient flow of information systems in order to provide top-level support and maximum performance of requirements management desired by Client.
  • Provides technical support and guidance for all functions within the project.
  • Regularly conducts systems audits; prepares a report.
  • Organizing, implementing, and managing information management systems (including Relatics)
  • Analyzes systems; prepares a set of recommendations for the purpose of improving the level of efficiency of integration.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Good understanding of the EPC work cycle.
  • Previous experience in implementation of Systems Engineering on Oil & Gas and/ or Renewable Energy projects.
  • Experience with software (like Relatics) including information modeling.
  • Minimum 5+ years in Systems Engineering implementation on EPC projects (Renewable energy projects would be an advantage).
  • Engineering Bachelor’s Degree with relevant certification in Systems Engineering or Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering.
