You as a Primary Design Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for primary engineering of Gas Insulated Switchgear.
Your responsibilities
Preparing of electrical and gas single line diagram, planning and section drawings based on various offer or tender and customer.
Preparing of technical particulars of GIS and high voltage equipment such as breakers, disconnectors etc. for submission to customer.
Reviewing of deliverables before submission to client. Preparing of technical documents for procurement of current transformers and voltage transformers.
Participating in customer meetings as required. Actively participation in project review meeting.
Actively project contribution to reduce the lead time and cost of the offered GIS solution by developing a solution as per project technical requirements.
Adhering to the detailed project plan to meet on time delivery. Ensuring quality of deliverable as top priority.
Focusing on optimized solutions with benefit to customer and HAPG.
Interfacing with civil, steel and application engineers on systems or solutions part from Hitachi Energy or EPC companies.

Your background
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related discipline.
3 -5 years of experience of relevant experience in GIS.
Hand on experience in 3D tools like ProE / CREO, AUTOCAD, MS Office.
Knowledge of relevant international standards such as IEC/ANSI.
Knowledge of high voltage GIS products.
Knowledge of PGHV-CH GIS product. Preparation of GIS layouts for various voltage levels as part of product team.
Understanding of variances and how variances can be minimized in the design.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
