TTO International, a subdivision of TTO BMA, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pulp and Recovered Paper Pricing Analyst. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting daily customer surveys to create daily/weekly pricing indexes. In addition, you will be analyzing market trends, pricing data, and supply-demand dynamics to provide accurate and timely pricing recommendations. Your insights and recommendations will be instrumental in helping our organization make informed business decisions for the company and our customers and maintain a competitive edge in the pulp and recycled paper industry.

Role and Responsibilities

1.聽聽聽聽聽聽Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze daily pricing data for multiple pulp and recovered paper grades, across different geographical areas. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to gather relevant data and insights. This includes customer surveys, internal databases, market reports, and industry publications. Utilize statistical models and financial analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities and to publish daily and weekly pricing indexes.

2.聽聽聽聽聽聽Pricing Index Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and publish daily and weekly pricing indexes that align with the data collected. Provide recommendations on pricing adjustments based on market conditions, cost analysis, and profitability targets.

  1. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of the pulp and recovered paper market, including supply and demand dynamics, pricing trends, and market activities. Stay updated on industry news, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact pulp and recovered paper pricing. Identify opportunities to enhance competitiveness of pricing model and propose pricing adjustments accordingly.
  2. Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing key findings, pricing recommendations, and market insights for various stakeholders. Clearly communicate complex pricing concepts and analyses in a concise and understandable manner.
  3. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance pricing analysis methodologies, tools, and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness. Identify opportunities for automation and leverage technology solutions to streamline workflows.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Proven experience as a pricing analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the pulp or related industry.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret large volumes of data.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and statistical software.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Familiarity with pulp market dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and industry-specific factors.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Ability to communicate in Hindu is a plus.
