Our company, Deckmode, is a premium, strategic design agency. Our focus is creating elevated design and melding (combining) that with optimal business strategy.
We are seeking one highly talented and creative presentation (slides) designer to join our core team and play a pivotal role in our rapid growth. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional portfolio of presentation design work.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to not only design but also contribute to our culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design presentations, logos, and other graphic materials for various projects, working with our Head of Design
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the design aligns with project goals and brand guidelines
- Present design concepts to our team for feedback and approval
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and techniques
- Utilize thoughtful, methodical, deliberate processes towards design and creativity (not just random design)
Requirements:
- Strong personal portfolio of presentation/slide design (please share links when applying)
- Proficiency in design software such as MS Powerpoint, Figma, Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Not just a ‘do-er’ but a thinker as well
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a very very fast-paced environment and remain reliable and very very responsive
- A strong commitment to providing excellent client service
- Must be able to work on partial US/PST hours
- Must be willing to work weekends if needed (not common but sometimes clients need something/we must take care of them)

Process:
We will be reviewing submissions in the order in which they are received. If we think there is a possible good fit we will do an initial small paid test, and if that goes well move to an interview. We will then move to a weekly paid structure with the goal to then move to a monthly paid/full-time structure (and then hopefully have you grow/expand, etc). Looking for people ready to make an immediate impact.
