Premix Operator- Feed Mill

Job Description

<p><strong>General Purpose: – </strong></p><p>Execute the activities and tasks required to safely operate the Premix facilities during his/her shift under the Shift supervisor’s scope applying the SOP processes, safety procedures, and protocols. Responsible for compliance with excellence standards and the successful implementation of best practices to deliver expected outcomes based on operation, supply chain, warehouse programs and quality standards, by (1) Monitor and controlling the Premix lines variables, in accordance with operational procedures (2) Safely operate the Feed Premix production line during his/her shift assuring, optimal management and preservation of the product and (3) Proactively identify any operational opportunity for improvement and/ or any deviation as per SOP and take immediate action to mitigate and/or eliminate any operational risk or deviation assuring the highest safety standard while maintaining the operational continuity, product quality, quality, productivity and asset integrity of the Feed Premix line to maximize production targets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Main Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li> Analyze, review and validate production targets and prepare the operational activities accordingly.</li><li> Review, and assess the equipment, materials and working environment prior to initiating the operational activities, assuring the safety, health and environment measures and proper working conditions, equipment and materials availability.</li><li> Execute the required operational tasks, actions and activities during his/her respective shift according to the demand and operational/production programs.</li><li> Continuously looking for operational innovations and best practices and suggesting ideas for implementation to maximize productivity.</li><li> Monitor the performance of the Feed Premix assigned Line(s), identify and report immediately any deviation.</li><li> Assure the execution of Premix operations SOP, processes and procedures.</li><li>Ensure implementation of measures for improving effectiveness and operational excellence in the Feed Premix line</li><li> Proactively Identify and report maintenance needs in a timely manner according to the production plan and operating conditions to assure proper availability of equipment and production facilities.</li><li>Assure that the Feed Premix line quality outcomes are aligned with the expected quality and quantity standards of the company.</li><li> Prepare and deliver accurate, comprehensive regular reports reflecting all the relevant operational information indicating Feed Premix assigned line operational performance as KPIs, productivity and eventual incidents.</li><li> Receipt and validation of the data records of the previous operation shift, including product quality, equipment working conditions operation and maintenance assuring accuracy and compliance with the procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience &amp; Education:</strong></p><ul><li>High school and technical certification</li><li>Diploma in industrial operations, chemical or mechanical</li><li>Mill School certificate</li><li>6+ years of experience in premix operations or similar, with at least 3 years in Feed Mills operations</li><li>Manufacturing/operations experience.</li><li>Experience in production processes, production inspection, validation quality of goods</li><li>Experience in mechanical operations, and processes.</li></ul>
