<strong><strong>Position:</strong></strong><p><br></p>Pre – sales Cloud Engineer<p><br></p><strong><strong>Job Description:</strong></strong><p><br></p><strong>The Pre-Sales Cloud Engineer “TAM” works closely with Business Development Team, and Account Directors, in the planning, execution and delivery of partner road maps and technologies.</strong><p><br></p>This role will focus specifically on the Microsoft hyper-scale offerings and ecosystem vendors. The candidate will also have successfully designed and deployed multiple Public solutions and is confident with, cloud migration and modern deployment standards.<p><br></p><strong><strong>What Are We Looking For?</strong></strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Must have Microsoft Pre-sales experience or be willing to move from Technical role into Pre-sales, Focus areas: “Azure IaaS, PaaS, Automation, Containers, Modern Workplace and Native Cloud Security Solutions”.</li><li>Skills should also include:</li><li>Build Bill Of Materials, Scope of Work</li><li>Designing Cloud Solutions</li><li>Migration to the Cloud</li><li>Design Landing Zones</li><li>Understand sizing and management tools</li><li>Understand Microsoft License Programs “CSP”</li><li>Knowledge of deployment and planning for Modern Workplace Technologies “Email, One Drive, Teams, Calling Plans”, EM+S, including Microsoft Identity Services</li><li>Good Datacentre of Cloud and Hybrid Networking</li><li>Clear, logical and persuasive communication skills with an ability to work closely with executives and employees at all levels</li><li>Ability to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of Public Cloud across the hyper scalers.</li><li>A highly entrepreneurial spirit that manifests itself in a “let’s make it happen” approach, coupled with initiative and adaptability.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><strong>Missions:</strong></strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Go to a technical specialist for sales team and downstream partners on the various Public Cloud platforms like Microsoft and AWS and their associated product portfolio.</li><li>Work with team members to develop new cloud propositions</li><li>Advise Partners on new technologies</li><li>Design, & Deliver cloud demonstrations and labs.</li></ul><strong><strong>What You Will Be Doing at Arrow?</strong></strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Establish technical relationships with partners and, on occasion, with end-user organisations as well as key stakeholders like CIO’s and IT Managers</li><li>Review and assure appropriateness and technical integrity of solutions</li><li>Participate in local and regional seminars, and act as a technical specialist for existing customers.</li><li>Deliver solution presentations to partners, at vendor events and industry events</li><li>Advise clients transitioning to cloud-based and managed services</li><li>Serve as subject matter expert in one or more streams</li><li>Maintain and keep up to date with Cloud Skills, and Certifications</li><li>Work in tandem with the various business development and sales teams in fulfilling sales goals and responding to RFI/RFPs.</li><li>Provide ad-hoc pre-sales technical support to the sales and vendor teams covering specific vendors to be determined in consultation with the Director of Technology and Services.</li><li>Remain knowledgeable with a strong understanding of current industry technology (specifically in Public Cloud, and DevOps), trends, and the competition.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><strong>Our story</strong></strong><p><br></p><strong>Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions</strong> (ECS), a part of Arrow Electronics, brings innovative IT solutions to the market to solve complex business challenges.
