What we’re looking for:
We’re on the hunt for a PR Account Director who brings value to our clients by analyzing, solving and presenting viable communication solutions to client problems. You identify and inspire new work streams and solutions that lead to client growth by collaborating with and drawing on the expertise of the Ogilvy’s vast resources and capabilities. You are valued advisors and partners to Senior Comms Leads, as well as agency leaders at similar levels. You identify and champion great work and understand the importance of flawless delivery. You are an exceptional leaders of teams who inspires others to act courageously.
As an Account Director you lead large, more complex projects, armed with your experience and proven ability to think and do. You are able to problem solve and create highly effective and fruitful working relationships with clients and colleagues, collaborating with other Capabilities and Crafts instinctively.
You may also have a solid understanding of strategy and always ensure that you and the team are working towards strategic objectives.

To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:
- Overseeing PR campaigns from the brief to delivery.
- Leading a team of PR professionals, monitoring their performance and ensuing they are trained to achieve their best.
- Supporting new business and developing existing accounts.
- Overseeing media strategy.
- Ensuring we achieve exceptional outcomes for our clients.
- Developing senior press relations and managing key contacts.
- Project work and PR data analysis and presenting the outcomes.
- Working as part of the senior leadership team.
- We are looking for a person who has gained extensive B2B & B2C PR experience within a relevant sector or industry.
- Ideally degree educated in English, PR, Communications, Marketing, Business or Journalism.
- A keen networker with a strong industry network and contacts with senior journalists and members of the press.
- A proven track record of successfully implemented PR campaigns for a range of clients.
- A polished presenter, adept at explaining complex information, PR terms and outcomes to senior players.
- Commercial acumen and experience in developing business and winning new clients.
- Leadership and management experience and able to develop a team of high performers and oversee performance.
- Driven, ambitious and willing to contribute to the business.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Able to communicate across departments and represent PR at a senior level within the business.
