Position Overview<br>Khalifa University (KU) is currently seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on the implementation of Deep Neural Network (DNN) models across various applications, with a particular emphasis on evaluating their implementation using alternative numbering systems. Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to explore different DNN compression techniques, including pruning, knowledge distillation, and quantization.<br><br>We are seeking an individual with a robust background in artificial intelligence (AI) and a comprehensive understanding of its practical applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in the energy-efficient implementation of machine learning techniques. Furthermore, the ability to effectively evaluate and optimize the performance of machine learning algorithms using alternative numbering systems would be highly advantageous.<br><br><br><br>Position Requirements<br>· Adhere to the University’s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly<br>· Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager<br>· Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB and Python
