Podiatrist Vacancy In Gulf<p><br></p>We have a Current ongoing vacancy with reputed Hospitals and Clinics for Podiatrists in UAE and Qatar .<p><br></p>Podiatrists are medical specialists who help with problems that affect your feet or lower legs. They can treat injuries as well as complications from ongoing health issues like diabetes.<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Duties And Types Of Treatment</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>As a Podiatrist you will be responsible for carrying out below mentioned responsibilities:</li><li>Prescription medications</li><li>Orthopedics</li><li>Cryotherapy</li><li>Electro surgery</li><li>Ultrasonic</li><li>Specialized dressing</li><li>Exercise therapies</li><li>Assess, diagnose and treat abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb in people of all ages</li><li>Provide treatment of high-risk patient group such as the elderly and those with increased risk of amputation</li><li>Give advice and make referrals as appropriate</li><li>Use therapeutic and surgical techniques to treat foot and lower leg issues (eg: carrying out nail and soft tissue surgery using local anesthetic)</li><li>Prescribe, produce and fit orthotics and other aids and appliances</li><li>Deliver foot health education</li><li>Understand the mechanics of body in order to preserve, restore and develop movement</li><li>Work with people in sports to address sports-related injuries to legs and feet</li><li>Use a range of equipment’s including surgical instruments, dressing, treatment tables, orthotic (inner sole) materials, lasers, grinders, shaping equipment, X Ray and video gait-analysis equipment (which allows for analysis of patients walking or running problems)</li><li>Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards and procedures and cooperate with Hospital Management to comply those requirements</li><li>Work accordance with the documented OSH procedures and instructions, specific responsibilities</li><li>Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures</li><li>Notify OSH hazards, incidents, near misses and issues and assistance with preparation of risk assessments, incident reports</li><li>Comply with waste management procedures and policies</li><li>Attend applicable OSH / Infection Control training programs, mock drills and awareness programs</li><li>Use of appropriate personal protective equipment’s and safety systems</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Podiatry from an accredited college (minimum of three (3) years course duration) or</li><li>MSc degree in Podiatry or Doctor of Podiatry</li><li>Any Nationality</li><li>MOH/HAAD/DHA Qatar license preferred</li><li>Western Qualification an added advantage</li><li>Salary open and negotiable</li><li>3+ years experience post specialization</li><li>Must have valid license</li></ul>
