<strong>Overview / Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Planning Engineer to join Al Dhafra Petroleum project. This position will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Ensure that client relationships are maintained at all levels within the project. </li><li> Create and sustain a good team spirit within the Wood project team and client. </li><li> Monitor and review planning and reporting requirements of the project. </li><li> Monitor and review PMC planning, scheduling and reporting techniques to record man-hour and business costs as per client contractual requirements. </li><li> Monitor and review the EPC Contractor’s detailed planning, schedule and progress measurement procedures. </li><li> Monitor, review and verify the EPC Contractor’s monthly progress and invoices. </li><li> Monitor and review the EPC Contractor’s resource plans and execution methodology to ensure validity of schedules. </li><li> Contribute to preparation of weekly, monthly and as required status reports and/or presentations to client </li><li> Monitor and review variations to the contract in order to safeguard budget and schedule integrity. <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills / Qualifications</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor degree in Engineering </li><li> Minimum 15 years of experience </li><li> Minimum 5 years of experience in similiar role </li><li> A proven track record in engineering and construction of oil and gas, petrochemical or similar facilities </li><li> A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li> Expert with Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capability </li><li> ADNOC experience <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Company Overview</strong><p><br></p>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
