<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented <strong>Planning Manager</strong> to join our team! In this role, you will get to Develop, implement, and provide planning/scheduling functions on one or more larger projects. The Planning Manager at this level is a fully qualified professional with solid experience, technical expertise, and familiarity with company policies and procedures to complete complicated tasks independently.<p><br></p><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Establish, update &amp; analyse baseline programmes and ensure project control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance. </li><li>Review overall project status with the Project Management team and recommend corrective action where necessary. </li><li>Track and report progress against the baseline programme, continuously monitor risks and opportunities and proactively develop scenarios and recovery plans required. </li><li>Report on schedule progress, including contractual spending, utilising reporting metrics including EV (earned value) and PV (planned value) and deviations within all functions and parties involved in the project. </li><li>Assure integration of consultant and sub-contractor programmes within the Master programme. </li><li>Ensure close monitoring of project progress and raise alarms and alerts in case of any delays in critical activities impacting project deadlines. </li><li>Prepare consolidated weekly reports of the project. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Required Skills You’ll Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience) and typically 10+ years of experience in Project Controls position is required. </li><li>Working knowledge of urban/environmental planning practices and procedures. Proficiency in utilizing PC and various software packages typically used in urban/environmental planning assignments is required.</li><li>Working knowledge of urban/environmental planning practices and procedures.
