<strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p>The planning manager is responsible for overseeing the creation of plans and strategies that help organizations achieve their goals. He/she commonly works with a team of planners, analysts, designers, and other professionals to develop these plans and ensure they align with overall organizational objectives.<p><br></p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ability to formulate complex Master Plan Schedules, at all stages of the project lifecycle, from design through to completion.</li><li>Arrange for external benchmarking when required, assess opportunities, and make recommendations to enhance business capabilities and process improvements arising from the metric studies.</li><li>Reviewing, controlling, and monitoring relevant stakeholders’ master schedules and costings to assist in meeting project deadlines and targets.</li><li>Providing technical guidance and support where required to relevant stakeholders including planning personnel, project managers, clients, and contractors.</li><li>Assist with new deployments and work with the business on setting up hierarchies (prod &amp; Store) and initial values.</li><li>Manages the annual creation of the budgets, including FTE, professional fees, and capital spending.</li><li>Developing and overseeing work breakdown structures, project control systems, cost control systems, and advanced document control systems.</li><li>Liaises with Finance Analyst &amp; Portfolio Management to ensure consistency in forecasting/budgeting.</li><li>Maintains up-to-date tracking of approved budgets and communicates on a regular basis to Management Team ensuring proposed projects are reviewed for baseline start dates and funding gaps are identified and resolved.</li><li>Preparing formal and ad hoc reports for the project bringing together: progress against schedule and trend, actual cost vs budget and trend, risk register, contingency spend vs risk, early warnings etc.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years of work experience partnered with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent. 10 years of your career will have been focused purely on PM.</li><li>Building project Experience must have GCC experience.</li><li>Advanced understanding of construction processes, principles, materials, and tools.</li><li>Excellent leadership abilities.</li><li>Strong English Communication Skills<br></li></ul><p><br></p>Duration: Temporary 3-6 Months<p><br></p>Vertical: <strong>Engineering</strong>
