SUMMARY:

Perform schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan development activities for various NEOM program sectors, departments, and regions; with significant non-routine requirements; that requires a high degree of technical skill and experience. Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to planning and scheduling problems. Help develop and maintain a program dashboard utilizing business intelligence tools.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Support NEOMs Central Planning Function in delivering the overall program planning requirement that leads in the successful delivery of the program; brings visibility to progress and performance of various sectors; and provides decisionmakers with insight on issues and corrective actions.
  • Interfaces with designated sector, department or region heads for planning, scheduling, maintaining and reporting tasks.
  • Perform and supervise were required the collection, verification, and integration of implementation plans for various NEOM sectors into the total program plan.
  • Plan and supervise the effort to establish milestones and KPIs for sector. Review sector work activities to ensure the support of program milestones and KPIs. Coordinates the timely, systematic, and complete acquisition of scope definition and related data.
  • Provides as needed supervision and assistance to planners in the development and integration of individual sector, department or region schedules into the total NEOM program plan. Review the performance and determine whether the schedules adequately support the overall program goals.
  • Supervise/direct others in obtaining required schedule information by all parties. Supervise others in identifying schedule restraints and their effects on the total program schedule.
  • Work with all sectors to ensure an understanding of the total program schedule needs. Responsible for the integration of schedule activities. Identifies schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter-sector or group restraints and interfaces.
  • Supports the development of planning and scheduling standards and procedures. Compiles, summarizes and updates. Monitors and reports critical-path and schedule performance of the total project.
  • Coordinates information input into specific sector. Responsible for integration of activities for the whole NEOM program.
  • Prepares and presents the Schedule Impact Report. Leads the development and review of recovery plans.
  • Maintain sector plans periodically as needed and generate progress reports and provide advanced analysis

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present schedule products independently with minimal supervision. This includes using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical planning and scheduling skills and engineering design, construction, and procurement practices.
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Skilled in developing sophisticated progress reports.
  • Knowledge of project management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
  • Advanced level of knowledge in MS Office, BI Tools, Primavera P6 and MS project.
  • BSc in engineering with 15+ years of experience in mega projects delivery
